The Rick and Morty scribe has been tapped to pen the Marvel sequel.
Multiple outlets report that Jeff Lovenes is officially on board to pen Ant-Man 3. He’ll be joined by returning director Peyton Reed who helmed 2015’s Ant-Man and 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. Franchise stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly also are expected to return.
It is still unknown when the film will go into production and the studio has yet to announce an official release date. It’s fair to assumer, however, that Marvel won’t be announcing any dates soon, as the MCU is currently busy reshuffling its release date schedule due to the Coronavirus.
