The Broad City creator and star is coming to Amazon.
Ilana Glzer is already hard at work on her new project — her first stand-up special for Amazon Prime Video.
The Planet Is Burning is set to tape Wednesday in Houston, the final stop of Glazer’s recent stand-up tour of the same name. The special will be directed by Broad City producer Ryan Cunningham.
Glazer announced the news with a video on her Instagram.
Broad City came to an end earlier this year after five seasons. Glazer co-created the series with Abbi Jacobson. She also recently wrapped False Positive, a psychological horror flick which she wrote, produced and also stars in.
The Planet Is Burning is set to launch (exclusively) in the service in late 2019.
