Elizabeth Olsen, aka Scarlet Witch, has revealed the extreme lengths that MCU went to in order to ensure there were no spoilers forĀ Avengers: Infinity War.
Olsen told Paul Bettany at ACE Comic Con that none of the cast knew how the film was going to end right up until their death scenes. No one knew if their character was going to survive or whether they would be in part two.
āI found out from the Russos exactly what was going to happen, and it wasnāt until we shot it on that day we learned what the ending was,ā Olsen revealed.
āThey took us into a van ā all of us ā we were in a van with air conditioning because it was very hot, and they told us how the movie was going to end and no one knew.
“And they were like, āNow weāre shooting it, go!ā and we were like, āHow are we supposed to interpret that?'”
On top of not knowing the fate of their characters, the cast were not allowed to take a copy of the script home. Apparently, they had to read the script in a room with no windows and were required to leave their phones at the door.
āWe couldnāt take our time at home or anything like that ā they wouldnāt give us a hard copy,ā Olsen said.
āI just got my pages and even my pages had a fake ending and multiple fake things in it.ā
