Former CSI: Crime Scene Investigation actor Elisabeth Shue will star in Amazon’s drama The Boys, which is created by Timeless co-creator Eric Kripke, Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen and Sony Pictures TV.

The Boys is set in a world where superheroes are happy and celebrate their fame. It revolves around a group of individuals who are known collectively as “The Boys,” who aim to take down corrupt superheroes.

Shue will star as Madelyn Stillwell, the vice president of Hero Management for Vought and handles the assignments of superheroes.  Madelyn is known to be a tough negotiator and does not let the superheroes get away lightly whenever they are guilty of wrongdoing.

The Boys is written by Kripke and based on the comic book by Garth Ennis and Darik Robertson and directed by Goldberg and Rogen. Shue will add quality to this series. She previously received an Oscar nomination for best actress for her role in Leaving Las Vegas.
