Looks like those bandages is just what Alexis Carrington needed.
Friday’s episode of The CW’s Dynasty has finally revealed who’s the show’s “new” Alexis. First to play the iconic character on The CW’s reboot was Nicollette Sheridan (Desperate Housewives).
Sheridan exited the show in March due to personal family matters. Back then she told TVLine, “Working on the Dynasty reboot and reprising the iconic role of Alexis has been thoroughly enjoyable, but the chance to spend precious time with my terminally ill mother is more important to me right now. I am hopeful that my fans will embrace my successor with as much passion as they embraced me.”
Just before Friday’s episode ended, Alexis’ bandages came off giving fans their first look at Elizabeth Gillies as the “new” Alexis. Yes, you read right, the same Elizabeth Gillies who also plays Fallon on the show. The way to the “new” Alexis was paved after her long-lost son, Adam, pushed her into a fireplace. The incident didn’t kill her but did get the character the much-needed plastic surgery before the big switch.
Now that’s what we call a mega twist!
