Bill Murray has been cast in the Quibi comedy The Now.
Via Deadline, the short format forthcoming series directed by brothers Bobby and Peter Farrelly is about Ed Poole, played by Dave Franco, a man who resolves to “just live in the now” when a secret from his past emerges and seemingly destroyed his future.
The main cast also includes Alyssa Milano who will appear in a recurring role as well as Jimmy Tatro, Rob Yang, and Lex Scott Davis.
Further plot and character details are still being kept under wraps.
The show directed by the Farrellys was co-written by Peter Farrelly, Steve Leff, and Pete Jones.
Quibi is set to launch on April 6, 2020, and will feature “quick bites” of content running 10 minutes or less.
