Say hello to American Horror Story: 1984.

The next installment in Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology is going back in time and will pay homage to the ’80s slasher movies. 1984 was the year some major horror classics hit the big screen, including A Nightmare on Elm Street, Children of the Corn and Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter.

Murphy confirmed season 9’s title on Instagram Wednesday. The name reveal came with a short video that invoked horror films from the time period, showing a teenage girl fleeing a knife-wielding man.

Confirmed to return to the forthcoming season are Emma Roberts and Olympian Gus Kenworthy. According to Entertainment Weekly, they will play a couple. Evan Peters recently announced that he won’t be back for season 9.

American Horror Story returns in the this fall.
