All The Great Superhero Movies Coming In 2019

David Harbour in "Hellboy"

This year, more superhero movie are coming out on the big screen than ever before. In case you’re finding it difficult to keep up with all the announcements, we’ve made a list of every superhero movie you have to look forward to this year.

Glass (January 18)

M. Night Shyamalan’s Split was a psychological thriller until the final moments, when he thrusted the movie into the Unbreakables universe. That makes Glass officially a twisted superhero movie.

Captain Marvel (March 8)

The introduction of Captain Marvel to the Avengers team will surely spell trouble for Thanos in the second part of Infinity War. First though, we’ll be introduced to her origin story in Brie Larson’s debut as the titular superhero.

Shazam! (April 5)

DC’s first movie of the year will be much lighter than the others, but may struggle in the box-office as it goes up against…

Hellboy (April 12)

The Hellboy reboot will be R-rated and will see David Harbour as the titular character.

Avengers: Endgame (April 26)

The superhero event of the year has got to be part 4 of the Avengers movies. The finale will see the remaining Avengers, alongside Captain Marvel, join forces to take down Thanos.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix (July 7)

Dark Phoenix will be the last X-Men movie in the franchise of younger X-Men. The film will center around Jean Grey and should be an exciting close to the series.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (July 16)

After all the excitement from the Avengers, life will go on with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man returning to screens for his sequel.

The New Mutants (August 2)

The New Mutants was pushed back a year, but after the trailer dropped in October 2017, we’ve been quite excited about this flick. The feature will introduce a new generation of mutants and will transform the superhero genre into something far more spooky.

Joker (October 4)

With more superhero movies coming out this year than ever before, we’re definitely ready for everyone’s favourite supervillain to get his own movie, The Joker.
