We live in an era of constant TV revivals, and Hulu is giving us the one we’re most excited for. Our favorite detective, Veronica Mars is making a comeback this summer, and the first teaser for this series revealed when we can expect her return.
The short clip sees Kristen Bell portraying her most iconic character, but she’s far from the teen detective we first met 15 years ago. Mars isn’t the only one making a comeback in the teaser – it also features a special appearance from her signature taser that she often used while solving mysteries.
This teaser reveals the premiere date of this promising revival – July 26. Veronica Mars alums Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni and Francis Capra are also expected to return to their respective roles when this show premieres this summer.
According to Hulu’s official logline, the revival centers on a serial killer murdering spring-breakers in Neptune. Parents of one of the victims end up hiring Veronica Mars to solve the mystery, and she ends up finding out there’s more to this case than meets the eye.
