Frank Miller’s Sin City is being adapted for television.

The film noir-influenced comics that originally appeared in Dark Horse Presents Fifth Anniversary Special are being made into a television series.

The Legendary TV and Sin City author have struck a deal that guarantees a first season of the show, contingent on setting it up with a network or streaming platform.

Sin City co-director Robert Rodriguez is in talks to board the project as executive producer alongside Miller. The two worked together on the groundbreaking Sin City film in 2005. Stephen L’Heureux, a producer of the 2014 sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is also in talks to board the project.

Deadline first reported the news.
