John Krasinski and Noah Jupe in "A Quiet Place"

According to The Hollywood Reporter Paramount is in talks with the stars of A Quiet Place for the sequel. 

These news follows the confirmation that John Krasinski is returning to direct to sequel to the hit horror feature. Krasinski confirmed the news himself via Instagram captioning a picture of the infamous red lights with “…time to go back. #PartII 5-15-20.”

Now we learn that the studio is in talks with Emily Blunt and kid stars Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe to reprise their roles. The film followed an isolated family of four that must live in silence while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound.

A Quiet Place grossed $188 million domestically and $144 million internationally. The feature only cost $17 million to make. A sequel was announced by Paramount in August. 

According to the outlet, Krasinski, who directed and starred in the original and who was already on board to write the sequel, has settled on a definitive story for the sequel. 

The still untitled sequel is expected to hit theaters in the summer of 2020.
