Now that’s what we call a throwback!

Multiple outlets confirm that Paramount Pictures is teaming with Jonathan Entwistle to bring back Power Rangers.

The studio is reportedly in early negotiations with The End of the F***ing World creator to revive the popular ’90s TV series. Should the project move forward, the plan is to have Entwistle direct a new feature film from a script by Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway scribe Patrick Burleigh that would reboot the title.

The last attempt to revive the franchise about a group of kids who become superheroes happened back in 2017 from Lionsgate, but the film bombed, earning only $142 million worldwide on a budget of $100 million per Variety.
