A Minecraft Movie managed to earn $301 million during its opening weekend, including $157 million in North America alone. It was initially projected to gross $65–70 million, but it managed to exceed everyone’s expectations after making $58 million on its first day.
A Minecraft Movie currently holds the record for the largest domestic opening of 2025, surpassing Captain America: Brave New World with $88 million.
