A Familiar Face is Joining the Final Season of “Suits”

Patrick J. Adams in "Suits"

It’s almost time to hang up those Suits.

The legal drama will be wrapping up its nine year run when the final season kicks off in July.

And it couldn’t say farewell without Patrick J. Adams.

Adams portrayed college drop-out Mike Ross who began working as a law associate for Harvey Specter, despite never actually attending law school.

Ross departed the show in the seventh season, but will return midway through the 9th to work on a case that will see him go up against his former mentor.

Someone who won’t be returning for a final appearance, however, is Adams’ on-screen wife, Meghan Markle.

The Duchess of Sussex retired from acting prior to her engagement to Prince Harry and has ruled out a return to the series that made her famous before she became a member of the royal family.

The final season of Suits will premiere on July 17th.
