2024 will be behind us in just a few hours, so it’s a better time than ever to celebrate some of the amazing shows it has given us. From Baby Reindeer to Shōgun, here are five new shows that hit our screens in the past twelve months and managed to create a lot of buzz.

Agatha All Along (Disney+)

The long-awaited WandaVision spin-off Agatha All Along reunited us with the infamous witch Agatha Harkness and saw her joining forces with a coven of witches while trying to leave Westview behind.

Baby Reindeer (Netflix)

Baby Reindeer became a true viral sensation after premiering on Netflix this spring. It’s based on Richard Gadd’s one-man show and draws inspiration from his real-life experience with a female stalker who turned his life upside down.

Shōgun (FX/Hulu)

Shōgun takes us to a time of war and treachery in feudal Japan, where two ambitious men from different walks of life must forge their own path. It won 18 trophies at this year’s Emmy Awards, making history as the most-awarded show in a single season.
