Zoe Kravitz has just landed a major role.

The actress best known for her role as Bonnie Carlson in the hit HBO series Big Little Lies has been cast as Catwoman. She will star opposite Robert Pattinson’s Batman in the Matt Reeves-directed feature.

Reeves confirmed the casting via Twitter, sharing a GIF showing Kravitz on the phone saying “Hello” — the same way he broke the news that Pattinson would play the caped crusader.

Actor Jason Momoa who’s married to Kravitz’s mom, actress Lisa Bonet, congratulated Kravitz on Instagram writing, “I’m so proud of u zozo bear. On and off screen OHANA. DC WB ohana Lola and Wolfies big sister is CAT WOMAN. Unbelievable so freaking stoked.”

Reeves boarded the project in January 2017, after Ben Affleck retired his cape. Batman is scheduled to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
