A follow-up to the Showtime series is officially in the works.

Multiple outlets report that Weeds is heading back to TV with a new series in development at Starz. The sequel to the hit series Weeds will star original star Mary-Louise Parker. Parker is also set to executive produce.

According to Variety, the new series will follow the pot-growing Botwin family a decade after the events of the original, against the backdrop of the current climate of more widespread marijuana legalization.

The sequel hails from Victoria Morrow, who wrote and co-executive produced the original.

Variety was first to report the news.
