The CW can’t get enough of the Supernatural star.

Multiple outlets confirm that the Walker, Texas Ranger reboot starring Jared Padalecki is headed to The CW.

The recently announced reboot, currently titled Walker will see Padalecki play the lead in a series about “a man finding his way back to his family while investigating crime in the state’s most elite unit. [The] broken widower and father of two returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years for a high profile case — only to discover that there’s even more work to be done at home.”

The project in development comes from Anna Fricke who is writing the show and will executive produce with Padalecki and Dan Lin alongside Lindsey Liberatore.

The original Walker, Texas Ranger starred Chuck Norris as the title character and ran on CBS from 1993 to 2001.
