Viola Davis is heading to the White House.

Multiple outlets confirm that the How to Get Away With Murder star has been cast in Showtime’s drama First Ladies.

The forthcoming anthology series will delve into the personal and political lives of first ladies throughout history.

“In the East Wing of the White House, many of history’s most impactful and world changing decisions have been hidden from view, made by America’s charismatic, complex and dynamic First Ladies,” the logline says.

The first season will focus on Michelle Obama, Eleanor Roosevelt and Betty Ford, however, casting for the latter two has yet to be announced.

“Proud to spotlight these brave, extraordinary women,” Davis wrote on Twitter.
