Another ‘90s classic is making a comeback.

Multiple outlets report that Turner & Hooch is getting the TV series treatment at Disney+.

The classic comedy starred Tom Hanks as the “compulsively neat” detective Scott Turner whose “tidy world goes to the dogs when he’s forced to team up with a drooling slob of a junkyard dog named Hooch.”

While little is known of the project, which is in the early stages of development, according to Deadline, it is believed to be keeping the premise of the original movie.

Matt Nix (Burn Notice, The Gifted) who is under an overall deal with 20th Century Fox TV (part of Disney TV Studios) is attached to write and executive produce the series.

The original film was a box office hit, grossing $71 million on a $13 million budget.
