The trailer for the latest take on Robin Hood has been released.
Otto Bathurst’s take on the classic British tale will star Taron Egerton as the eponymous hero. Jamie Foxx will appear as Little John, Tim Minchin as Friar Tuck, Eve Hewson as Maid Marian and Jamie Dornan will be Will Scarlet.
The official synopsis for the movie is as follows:
“A war-hardened Crusader and his Moorish commander mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown in a thrilling action-adventure packed with gritty battlefield exploits, mind-blowing fight choreography, and a timeless romance.”
In the trailer, we get a taster for just how “thrilling” and “action-adventure packed” the movie is going to be. The one-and-a-half-minute teaser contains non-stop action scenes and it looks as if Bathurst’s take is going to be the most exciting version of Robin Hood yet.
