Let’s get cooking!

Multiple outlets confirm that E! is officially bringing The Soup back.

The pop-culture talk show is heading back to the network with new host Jade Catta-Preta at the helm.

The news was announced during Sunday’s People Choice Awards.

“We’re excited to bring this beloved franchise back to the network, with a new take on an old favorite,” said Rod Aissa, Executive Vice President, Production and Development, Oxygen & Production, E!. “Jade’s quick wit and keen observations will provide a much-needed voice in today’s pop culture landscape delivered in a way that only The Soup can.”

When it returns in early 2020, the show will feature “Catta-Preta’s irreverent sense of humor and sharp point-of-view on the entertainment world,” per an official statement.

The Soup has aired more than 3,300 episodes. Catta-Preta joins Greg Kinnear, John Henson, Hal Sparks, and Aisha Tyler as the franchise’s host.
