Cinderella is getting some Cuban flavor.

The classic fairytale is set to be retold again, with Camila Cabello starring as the lead.

The last time we saw the princess brought to the big screen was in 2015’s Cinderella, which was directed by Kenneth Branagh and starred Lily James as the titular character.

Camila — who is better known as a singer — will be making her acting debut with the role.

Kay Cannon, who wrote the Pitch Perfect franchise and directed Blockers, will helm the project. This will be her second film behind the camera.

James Corden is responsible for the original idea of the movie, which is said to focus on an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow.

Aside from acting, the “Havana” singer is also set to be involved in creating original music for the flick.

Sony Pictures has now announced that Cinderella will hit theatres on February 5th, 2021.
