Kaley Cuoco in "The Flight Attendant"

The Flight Attendant received more hype than any other show that premiered on HBO Max this year, and its future is looking bright. Only a day after the epic season finale, this show has been renewed for its second season.

The Flight Attendant centers on an alcoholic flight attendant, Cassie Bowen (Kaley Cuoco), whose affair with a first-class passenger turns sour after he’s found dead in Thailand. Following his murder, she finds herself entangled in an elaborate espionage plot as the FBI tries to crack the case.

Casey Bloys, the chief content officer of HBO and HBO Max, released an official statement announcing the show’s renewal and said the network is delighted that The Flight Attendant has resonated so strongly with audiences and critics.

“We congratulate Kaley, Steve, Greg, and Sarah, along with the rest of the incredibly talented cast, executive producers, and our partners at Warner Bros. Television on all the success of the first season. I look forward to seeing where Cassie will go next,” stated Bloys.

Cuoco echoed his statement and said that she’s grateful for the positive response to The Flight Attendant and proud of the entire team behind its success. In addition to Cuoco, the cast of this show also includes Michiel Huisman, Zosia Mamet, T.R. Knight, and Michelle Gomez.
