Blumhouse has revealed which actresses will be taking on the roles of the witches in The Craft remake.
The 1996 original follows a group of high school students who discover the power of witchcraft. Unfortunately, they do not understand the risks involved and use their newfound powers irresponsibly. The film became a cult classic and now, it’s getting a reboot.
The roles of the young witches will be taken on by Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, and Zoey Luna. They will be joining Cailee Spaeny who will be taking on the role of Hannah. The script has been written by Zoe Lister-Jones who is also set to direct the feature.
Blumhouse shared the news on Twitter with the following caption: “The Craft has its coven! The movie, written, directed and produced by @ZoeListerJones, has cast Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone and Zoey Luna to join the witchy, wonderful reimagining of the iconic ‘90s film.”
No release date has been set for The Craft reboot but it is anticipated for summer 2020.
