Jonah Hill is reportedly no longer in talks to star in The Batman.

Multiple outlets report that Hill has departed from the project helmed by Matt Reeves. According to Variety, when reports first surfaced in September that the actor was in talks to join the film, it was in fact was very early in the negotiations and that a deal was far from closed.

Very little was known then and is known now as to which villain Hill was attached to play. It was rumored that he might have been up for the Riddler or Penguin.

In other The Batman casting news — Zoe Kravitz has officially signed on to play Catwoman.

The Batman is expected to hit theaters June 25, 2021.
