Get ready to get spooked watching Spielberg’s After Dark.

The acclaimed director is working on a new project for Quibi (Quite Bites streaming service)—a horror series that will be available for viewing only when it’s dark. Spielberg challenged Quibi creator Jeffrey Katzenberg and engineers to make it so his content would only be available to stream when it’s dark outside.

Spielberg’s After Dark will feature an in-app clock that will release a new episode for viewing each night, according to the user’s location.

“Steven Spielberg came in, and said, ‘I have a super scary story I want to do.’ He’s writing it himself. He hasn’t [written anything in a while] so getting him to write something is fantastic,” said Katzenberg. He added that Spielberg has already penned “five or six episodes of a 10 or 12 chapter story.”

Guillermo del Toro, Sam Raimi, Catherine Hardwick, Anna Kendrick, Doug Liman, Laurence Fishburne and Antoine Fuqua have all taken some part in shows currently in the works for Quibi.

The news were announced at the Banff World Media Festival in Canada by Katzenberg.
