Some relief is on its way for Star fans.

After being canceled in May, and unsuccessfully shopped elsewhere, the musical drama is making a comeback in the from of a musical finale.

Star producer and director Lee Daniels took to Instagram Friday and promised fans that his series will be back to “wrap up things” as movie of the week. In a video captioned with “Get ready for a two hour GAG!!!!! ⭐️” he said, “We’re gonna make something real special for you to scream about, with all of our cast members — even the dead ones.”

Star followed three talented young singers who navigated the music business on their road to success and stardom. It co-starred Jude Demorest, Brittany O’Grady, and Ryan Destiny. Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, Brandy, Stephen Dorff, and Keke Palmer also starred.
