Sam Raimi’s Quibi horror anthology announces its cast.
The forthcoming series on the yet to be launched “quick bites” platform has tapped some major names including — Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Christina Ricci (Monster, Z: The Beginning of Everything), Jacob Batalon (Spiderman: Homecoming, Spiderman: Far From Home), Ming-Na Wen (The Mandalorian), Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story), Asa Butterfield (Sex Education), John Marshall Jones (The Last Revolutionary), and Ron Livingston (A Million Little Things).
50 States of Fright, which will feature a rotating group of writers and directors, will explore stories based on urban legends from different states across the US, and will dive headfirst into the horrors that “lurk just beneath the surface of our country.”
50 States of Fright joins an ever-growing roster of content including adaptations of Varsity Blues, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, a horror series from Steven Spielberg, etc.
Quibi launches in April 2020.
