Nico Tortorella has joined AMC’s hit zombie franchise.

The Younger star has been cast in the still untitled third TV series in the Walking Dead universe. According to multiple sources, Tortorella will portray Felix. His character is described as “an honorable man of his word who isn’t afraid to fight for others’ safety and acceptance.”

Per the official description, the third installment of The Walking Dead will “focus on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever.”

Tortorella joins previously announced Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Annet Mahendru, and Aliyah Royale.

Fear not Younger fans — Tortorella’s Walking Dead gig will not conflict with his current gig as Josh on the hit TVLand sitcom, which was recently renewed by the network for a seventh season.
