Netflix Renews “Love is Blind”

Love is Blind has been renewed by the streaming giant for two more seasons.

The dating experiment reality series will be back for at least two more installments following its massive global success. It is reported that the series was the number one title on the streamer in multiple territories around the world.

Show creator Chris Colelen says that season two, however, will bring with it some changes.

Love is Blind will be heading to Chicago, Illinois for its second season, after the first was filmed in Atlanta, Georgia.

“The age demographic that was in the first season — mid-twenties to mid-thirties — there was no magic to that,” Coelen tells Vanity Fair.

“The whole point of the show is to determine whether any of the surface factors matter… and age is one of those surface factors, so we’d certainly be open to older… but I don’t think we would go much younger. Because I think you actually would want to go with people who are interested in a real lifetime commitment.”

Casting for season two is already underway.
