Forget about Comic-Con, E3, Wondercon, Otakon, Vidcon and all the other similar events – MTV is launching a convention dedicated to celebrating the reality TV. The network just announced that the inaugural RealityCon is coming in the summer of 2020 and will feature appearances from some of fan favorite reality show creators and stars.

The concept of RealityCon is pretty much similar to most of the conventions out there. The event will feature panels, interviews, fan-activities and even performances by genre’s biggest stars and will give fans an opportunity to dive deeper into their favorite reality TV series like Jersey Shore and The Real World.

Although created by MTV, the convention will feature panels dedicated to shows from other networks including Duck Dynasty, Big Brother, RuPaul’s Drag Race, The Bachelor, The Real Housewives, Survivor and many more.

MTV is still tight-lipped about details of RealityCon such as venue, exact date, and how many days will the convention last. These and other info might be revealed on fall when the network is planning to do a soft-launch of the event. Stay tuned, since this definitely promises to be an interesting event.
