Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been tapped to star in Netflix’s Kate.

The thriller centers on a female assassin’s last manhunt through the streets of Tokyo after she was poisoned and was given less than 24 hours to live. The pic, which chronicles her epic vengeance journey before she dies will be shot on-location.

The movie will be directed by The Huntsman: Winter’s War helmer Cedric Nicolas-Troyan from a script by Umair Aleem. Bryan Unkeless will produce alongside Kelly McCormick and Patrick Newall. David Leitch (Deadpool 2) will serve as executive producer with Scott Morgan.

Winstead is best known for her role of Huntress in the Harley Quinn spinoff Birds of Prey. Her other credits include 10 Cloverfield Lane, FX’s Fargo and the upcoming Ang Lee pic, Gemini Man.

The streaming giant landed the coveted property after an aggressive bidding war, Variety reports.
