“Making The Band” Has Cast Sean Combs’ Sons as Judges

Sean Combs, Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, and Justin Combs in "Making The Band"

The 2000s show Making The Band is being rebooted in 2020 and Sean Combs’ sons Quincy Brown and Christian and Justin Combs along with celebrity choreographer LaurieAnne Gibson will be the judges.

The series first aired on ABC in 2000 and in 2002 it was moved to MTV. The formation and real-life journey of O-Town, Danity Kane, Day26, Da Band, and Donnie Klang were captured on the show.

Making The Band features hopefuls who want to become rising stars in the music industry. The 2020 reboot will start its multi-city casting call this month with open auditions in Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte, North Carlina, and New York City. Before the casting calls, fans will have a chance to experience the show via pop-up vocal booths throughout each city on tour that will offer a music video-style performance to approved audition songs.

Combs’ sons, Combs, and Gibson will be at the casting calls.

MTV hasn’t set a release date for Making The Band, but we do know it will air in 2020.
