Lena Waithe has just laded her next small screen gig.
The Emmy-winning Master of None writer-actress has been tapped to join Season 3 of the HBO drama Westworld. She joins another big name added to the call sheet for the forthcoming season — Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad). The two will star opposite series stars Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, and Thandie Newton.
The nature of her role — recurring or series regular in the upcoming season, which is likely to debut in 2020, is still unclear very much in typical Westworld fashion.
The series, based on the Michael Crichton film of the same name, hails from exec producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. JJ Abrams and Ben Stephenson of Bad Robot Productions also executive produce.
