The No Strings Attached star and co-creator of Bless This Mess has signed a new pod deal via her Lake Bell Prod. banner with 20th Century Fox TV.
Her co-creator of the hit single-camera comedy series, Liz Meriwether, also inked a four-year overall deal with the studio almost a year ago.
20th Century Fox TV president of creative affairs Carolyn Cassidy said in a statement: “Lake Bell is a creative force of nature whose incredible talent extends from acting and directing to writing and producing. Her hard work and creativity have helped make Bless This Mess into the hilarious, original and warm series we adore. We are thrilled to be able to continue to tell great stories with Lake for multiple platforms.”

They’ve been longtime champions of my work, so I’m honored to be able to find a TV home for my company, Lake Bell Prod. Already, they’ve been exceedingly supportive in my future projects, spanning all tones and genres… but that doesn’t mean my office will be on the lot, because, you know… traffic,” said Bell in a statement.
Bell stars in Bless This Mess opposite Dax Shepard. The series is currently in its second season.
