“Krypton” Canceled at Syfy

Cameron Cuffe and Georgina Campbell in "Krypton."

The Cameron Cuffe-led series has been canceled.

Syfy has decided to pull the plug on the Superman prequel series after two seasons, due to low viewership. News of the cancelation comes days after Krypton aired its Season 2 finale.

The series about Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El, also starred Colin Salmon and Georgina Campbell.

Following the announcement, Cuffe took to social media to express his gratitude to be part of the project.

“The beautiful thing about comic books is that the story always continues. All you can do as an artist is to leave it better than you found it. I believe we did just that. I feel boundless love and pride for the Krypton family and above all I feel gratitude. I spent 3 years living a dream. I will always be a proud son of House El and a proud son of Krypton. Keep believing in a better tomorrow.”
