Kid Cudi has teamed up with TV producer Kenya Barris and Netflix for a new series.
The triple threat, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, is set to write, star, and executive produce Entergalactic. The forthcoming LP will serve as the creative foundation for the project, that’s been touted as an “adult animated music series.”
According to Variety, the series will follow a young man on his journey to discover love, all the whole featuring music from the new album of course.
Ian Edelman will co-write alongside Cudi. He will also executive produce with Barris. This marks the third project for Barris at Netflix since he signed an overall deal with the streamer.
Kid Cudi’s TV credits include HBO’s Westworld. You can see him next on another HBO series, We Are Who We Are alongside Chloë Sevigny and Alice Braga.
