The Disney+ Turner & Hooch revival has found its lead.
Multiple outlets confirm that Josh Peck will star in the series as Scott Turner in the streamer’s forthcoming TV series reboot.
News that the adaptation of the classic 1989 received a formal 12-episode series order was reported back in December.
Peck’s Turner is described as an ambitious, buttoned-up US Marshall who inherits a big unruly dog, which he soon realizes isn’t the partner he needs. Tom Hanks played the character in the 1989 movie.
Peck’s TV roles include Grandfathered, The Mindy Project and Fuller House. His feature credits include Locating Silver Lake, Take the 10, Danny Collins, and The Wackness.
