Disney+ has tapped Joby Harold to pen its Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
Variety confirms that Harold has officially taken over as scribe of the highly-anticipated series from Hossein Amini. Amini left the project back in January.
The gig marks Harold’s first writing stint on a televisions series. His credits include writing the script for Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead and serving as exec producer on John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum.
The series, which was first announced last August, will be directed by Deborah Chow. Ewan McGregor is set to reprise his role as the titular Jedi.
