The Losing Clementine movie adaption has cast Jessica Chastain.

Multiple outlets confirm that the It: Chapter Two star will star in the forthcoming dramedy from Argentine filmmaker Lucia Puenzo.

The adaptation is based on Ashley Ream’s acclaimed debut novel of the same name. The story follows world-renowned artist Clementine Pritchard (Chastain) who gives herself 31 days to tie up loose ends before killing herself. In the process Pritchard uncovers secrets about her family and a tragedy that impacted her mother and sister.

Puenzo will direct from a script penned by Better Call Saul scribe Ann Cherkis.

Chastain next has on her schedule a role in an adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s classic A Doll’s House at the Playhouse Theatre in London.
