Many were disappointed when the series about an FBI agent and his CIA partner who manage an international team of spies was canceled earlier this month.
The decision by ABC to cancel the series after its first season was likely due to the show averaging 6.3 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
But perhaps there is still hope.
Before the series finale aired, executive producer Bill Lawrence sent out a tweet which said, “Tonight: great season finale of #WhiskeyCavalier. Maybe check it out? Make this a ‘season’ finale and not a series finale. Just an idea.”
The show’s producers, Warner Bros., are now said to be in negotiations with ABC to bring back Will Chase (Scott Foley) and Frankie Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan).
Whiskey Cavalier might bravo romeo bravo.
