It seems to be that a fourth installment of The Matrix is on its way. At least, that’s what director Chad Stahelski seems to think.
Speaking with Yahoo Movies UK, Stahelski promoted John Wick 3: Parabellum while also letting it slip that another Matrix movie is on its way, 20 years after the original.
āIām super happy that the Wachowskis are not just doing a Matrix, but theyāre expanding what we all loved,ā Stahelski revealed. āAnd if itās anywhere near the level of what theyāve already done, it wouldnāt take more than a call to go, āHey, we want you to be a stunt guyā, and I would probably go and get hit by a car.ā
To give a little context of the quote, Stahelski was Keanu Reevesā stunt double in the original movies before he took his hand to directing.
We are still awaiting confirmation on whether what Stahelski says is true but we have no reason to doubt that he has been informed by the right people. We will be issuing a confirmation when we find out more information either way. So watch this space.
