Sony’s Cinderella is in negotiations to bank another major talent.

Deadline reports that Idina Menzel, best known as the voice of Elsa in Disney’s Frozen,  is in talks to star opposite Camila Cabello in the musical film adaptation of the classic folk tale.

Per the outlet, Menzel is poised to play the evil stepmother in the music-oriented version of the traditional tale of the orphaned girl. The feature grew out of an original idea from James Corden.

News of Menzel’s negotiations comes just a day after multiple outlets report that winner Billy Porter is in talks for the role of the fairy godmother.

Kay Cannon is set to direct from his own script. Corden will be producing alongside Leo Pearlman through their Fulwell73 banner.
