HBO is set to team up with Dwayne Johnson, Issa Rae, and Dany Garcia to executive produce a half-hour series about the creation of backyard wrestling.

Mohamad El Masri will write the series which is currently titled TRE CNT (a.k.a TRE COUNT). The project will tell the story of Cassius Jones, a young dockworker and struggling pro-wrestler who uses the life insurance money he inherited from his grandfather for start-up cash and the deed to a shotgun house to start his backward wrestling empire in Houston.

HBO has previously worked with Rae, Garcia, and Johnson. Rae currently stars in, executive produces, and co-created Insecure and is an executive producer for A Black Lady Sketch Show. Johnson and Garcia produced the series Ballers and Johnson also starred in it.

Johnson’s involvement in the series authenticates it as he’s most well-known as one of the most famous WWE wrestlers, The Rock, and he won several championships and headlined major pay-per-views during his wrestling career.
