Cloak & Dagger has been canceled after two seasons at Freedom.
The Marvel live-action series starred Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph as its leads. Emma Lahana, Ally Maki, Gloria Reuben, Miles Mussenden, Carl Lundstedt, James Saito, J.D. Evermore, and Jaime Zevallos also starred.
The series followed Tandy Bowen (Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Joseph) — two different kids from very different backgrounds, who found themselves burdened by and awakened to newly discovered superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another.
“We are so proud of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger and the trailblazing stories this series told,” Freeform said Thursday in a statement. “We are also grateful to our incredible talent Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph for bringing these beloved characters to life, and showrunner Joe Pokaski for his vision. We’d like to thank our partners at Marvel Television for a wonderful two seasons and are we are hopeful that we can find another project together.”
