Academy Award-nominated movie Get Out, written and directed by Jordan Peele, is returning to select AMC theaters across the United States for a free screening on President’s Day, February 19th, 2018.

Get Out stars Daniel Kaluuya as Chris Washington, an African American photographer, who is about to meet his girlfriend’s (Played by Allison Williams) family. What seems at first like a friendly encounter with her family turns into a living nightmare.

One of the main reasons Get Out was so popular in theaters one year ago was because of the controversial subject matter. Get Out deals with racism in contemporary America.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Jordan Peele and Universal Pictures decided to give audiences a free screening in order to say “thank you” for making the movie a success.

Tickets for the free screening can only be picked up on President’s Day.
