Calling all Ghostbusters fans: here’s your first look at Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
The long-awaited first look at the new Ghostbusters film starring Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Paul Rudd, and Mckenna Grace is here.
Vanity Fair has released a series of first-look images and plot details on Friday. The new film from director Jason Reitman, son of original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman, officially titled Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a continuation of the original films and not the female-led reboot from 2016.
The new film follows Carrie Coon’s Callie with her children (Mckenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard). In the new film, Callie’s father was one of the original Ghostbusters and now her kids must decide whether or not to join the family business when they move to a property in a small Oklahoma town they inherit.
“As the family arrives at an old farm, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters,” Reitman added.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife drops in theaters on July 10, 2020.
