“Doctor Strange” Sequel Has Been Postponed

Another day, another release date calendar shuffle. 

The latest release date delay is Disney’s Doctor Strange sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This is the second time the film’s been delayed and its November 5, 2021 date has now been updated to March 25, 2022. 

In other Disney rescheduling news: Thor: Love and Thunder has been moved up to February 11, 2022. 

Benedict Cumberbatch made his character debut in 2016 and then made subsequent appearances in Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, will reprise his role as the titular character. Benedict Wong Chiwetel Ejiofor and Elizabeth Olsen are all also expected to reprise their roles from the original film. Rachel McAdams, however, will not reprise her role.
