The Craft reboot has found its lead.

The contemporary reimagining has tapped Cailee Spaeny as its first witch.

According to multiple outlets, the Pacific Rim: Uprising actress is in talks for the lead role in the Zoe Lister-Jones directed feature. Jones is also set to write the project, which is based on the 1996 original.

Spaeny would portray Hannah, the role originally played by Robin Tunney, in the story about three outcast teenage girls who practice witchcraft, and wage curses against those who tick them off.

The cult hit also starred Neve Campbell, Rachel True and Fairuza Balk.

Spaeny’s other credits include On the Basis of Sex, Vice, and Bad Times at the El Royale.

Production is slated to start in July.
